Fuel injector Physicists, please help!! inj. question.
I know, I already bought this up in another thread, but my threads get kinda DEEP! (lots of pages). I will just ask the question here, and hopefully can get some great answers.
I am tuning the car with the mods in my signature.
I am breaking the motor in, with the stock injectors (as recommended). I have been breaking it in to a "T", and noticed, the AEM UEGO A/F gague looks like I still have the stock bottom end. it will run at 14.5-15.0 on the gague, with steady throttle. I have only got the boost up to 10-15 (to seat the rings), and when I do a "brisk" acceleration, weather from a start, or step on the gas at 60MPH, just to build up boost, the A/F gague goes super rich (3 red dashes on the gague), then goes to 11.5. again, I dont FLOOR the gas to the floor, but "tap" steadly on the gas, (maybe 1/2-3/4 depressed to floor) to see what the A/F ratio will do.
It is just like I still have the same bottom end. I did see on another thread, that the stock injectors you don't need to change unless you get a bigger turbo, AND that the injectors work with LESS DUTY CYCLE (dont work so hard) if you shoot methanol. Is this statement true? I will be shooting 100% methanol.
My question is: Is it NECESSARY to get larger injectors? Anyone with Stroker/stockish turbo and stock injectors?
(Again, mods below, and will be shooting Methanol, with the AMS progressive set-up)
As always,
Thanks in advance!
If you are getting bored with my questions, please raise your hand!
Dont laugh at the question, someone else out there has the same questions but isn't in a "stroker" yet. this is for the betterment of the ones who "need to know"

Methanol is fuel. If your equivalency ratio remains the same, despite injecting more fuel from another source (the meth kit), then your fuel injectors are indeed pumping less.
So the short answer is, YES.

that question was long... the answer is short.
but to your other semi on the side question, you do have to add fuel for a stroker/bigger motor whether or not stock injectors hold this margin of increase is up for you to find out.
stoic will always be stoic and i'm assuming you're using the afr chasing function that aem allows you.
but wot is a different story and your stroker will consume more than stock amounts of fuel to make more bang.
