Those holes are not for fog lamps...there is nothing to retrofit there, since our fogs go in the regular headlight housing.

I am not talking about EVO stock fogs. I was talking about aftermarket units. Retrofit can also mean fitting something there that was not originally there.
Sorry I confused you. Perhaps this will help. http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/retrofit

It was just something I had been thinking of doing for a few weeks. Would have been different to have some that fit perfect in those holes that were HID if they were not functional holes to guide air to the IC piping.

Example:

But now this is way off topic.. sorry guys.

Yes, there is no problem using the bumper support. It fits fine. The intercooler almost fits below it, and there is about 1/2inch clearance from the bumper support to the intercooler. Fits perfect.

Actually I was thinking about doing the same thing down in those holes, Now there is actually more room to work with, It is possible if you can find small enough fog lamps. Something that would fit flush or recessed in the holes.

Its the modified EVO 9 pipe, you have to tell them the intercooler is for an evo 9. Otherwise you will get the evo 8 pipe that WILL NOT FIT, What did you not tell them
