not to mention your transmission has the possibility of going out putting down that much power. plan on saving up a grand or so for john sheppard or jon ripple to built it back to hold what you need it to.

also you transfer case, if you ever plan to launch it, might go too. so keep a good 2k set aside for all this. that or just do it pre emptively.

have you also considered stroking your motor, and porting your head?

after all is said and done, and whats broken is fixed, plan on spending 10-12k

The turbo upgrade should be your last addition after ALL supporting mods.

I wouldn't think about a turbo upgrade until at least the following was met:

1) Intended power output / budget plan.
2) Gauges, Boost & Wideband at minimum (EGT and Oil Pressure are a good idea as well).
2) Fuel Delivery, At a minimum is a fuel pump and injectors (based on how big your going).
3) Exhaust system as stock is a bottle neck.
4) Cams, take your pick & read about different sets.
5) Intercooler, stock wont support a big turbo.

Make a plan write it on paper. Figure your goal and budget cause it WILL get expensive! Call some reputable tuning shops. AMS and Buschur for example will steer you in the right direction and both have setups that totally work together for all your needs.

After the turbo upgrade then your next step is building the engine/head for higher power, if you feel the need for it...

^ what proof do you have that a stock IC will not support a big turbo?

I am not saying you will not make more power with a bigger/better flowing IC, but the stock has made 500whp plus on a 35R.

just follow the br stages listed on his website. you don't necessarily have to buy from him, just follow the stages of mods. smarter way to go
