as far as vacuum line... try some smaller fuel line... its pretty durable and works fine. as for the aps nut, take the nut and "bolt" out ... put some teflon tape on it and reinstall... should help, try and see

This is why we tell people to do boost leaks. You don't normally find one - you normally find several.

Dan, the MBC is making noise, because that is where the boost is set. If you increase the pressure in the system above where it's set to hold boost, then it will bleed off the pressure through the bleed hole. If it's making noise at 15psi, then you're not running much boost, haha.

Next time you do it and hear the MBC, quickly turn the knob to increase the boost, and you'll hear it go away. I pressure test my system to 25psi as it is now, and it currently doesn't leak anywhere, and the MBC doesn't rattle.

yes i got leaks like the outcast vid on mtv ms jackson. lmao. i did that, i turned it upand the sound went away. i got to go to work tomarrow so i put the car back togeather. il finish or try to tomarrow. il dial in the boost AGAIN to 20 21 psi and then see if i notice a diff. i dont have a leak near my intake manifold. i found where it was. il fix that tomarrow. thanks warr and the other guy for the help. i learned some col **** today. im really glad i did this.

I got boost leak last week too. Well my gt35r just only boost to 16psi no matter what. Checked leak on bov, hoses, pipes... Finally changed out the Hallman mbc, which been running fine for the last 2 years, and put in a cheaper backup mbc I have in the garage. Bamm! 32 psi. How can you tell it is the boost control if you don't actual replace and test?

i never said the mbc was causeing a leak. it was spiking. i did all the recommended steps to fix that problem. still did it. so i redid the steps again. also did a boost leak test for my own testing and i found alot of problems that were fixed. most of them. ill finish the testing tonight.
