Has ANYONE had this problem" drivetrain/driveshaft"
Hey I was just wondering if any one has had to replace the bearings I believe called the carrying bearings. Located in the middle if the car where the front piece of the driveshaft connect to another piece "about two feet long, they have bracets around them"and then connects to the rear piece of the driveshaft into the rear diff. The problem is I have replaced the propeler shaft bearing "spelling" which leads into the driveshaft to the rear diff which looks like a round piece of metal with I think six bolts going around it. The problem I have is the drive shaft is flexing to much in high gears off the gas causing a rub into the exhaust."Trust me if has nothing to do with my exhaust,Transfer case, or Rear diff" I have already order the bearings from mitsu which are located in the middle of the car about a foot apart from each other which support the driveshaft. They have bracets around them held in by a twelve or fourteen mm bolt. I was just wonder if ANYONE knew if there was somewhere I could find a stronger aftermarket bear for these bearings. I don't want to have to keep on replacing these and was hoping some has had the same problem. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this. Happy fourth of July weekend to everyone!!!
