Hm, I'd like to see pics of both the separated and normal setups. I like the idea of having one unit, but depending on how quickly it fills.. would you empty it once per oil change? If so, then that's not too bad and I'll just take the dual unit.

I just recommend checking them at every oil change. Blow-by should not be that extreme, but it is good practice, and keeps the snorkel working efficiently.

keep in touch!

how hard would a DIY sight glass be to add?

and yes, AT LEAST every oil change. how easy is it to drain? does it have to be removed?

It would be VERY hard for DIY, you can even damage the mesh inside by drilling into the body.

It drains easy! Each cylinder has a drain at the bottom. Turn by hand to open and close. You can get trick and slip a hose over the nipple that sticks out and put the bottom end in a cup or can.

No, you don't have to remove it to drain it. Are there OCC that have to be removed to drain? are ther OCCs that don't have drains?

Rough sketch

Here is a sketch of how each valve is connected to the dual can system.
Is this understandable?

Yeah, but I will have to post them later. I need to do a short instruction type page on my homepage.
Up to now, the place with the most available space for an object that size is on the firewall, behind the strut brace, next to the master cylinder.
There is a little aluminum Mitsubishi place riveted there.
Me and Slowcar had been trying to find the easiest mounting spot, and that seems to be it for now. A 2 can system is a little harder for the PCV side.

Idea !

I finally got an idea that should help with mounting locations for the separated versions!
Stay tuned! I think I can make a prototype tomorrow!

this looks like a great product. are you sending out installation instructions too?

Thanks!

Yes, I am sending out instructions. I will work on them as I go to improve on them.
The first few may be a little "rough"
