Hm, I'd like to see pics of both the separated and normal setups. I like the idea of having one unit, but depending on how quickly it fills.. would you empty it once per oil change? If so, then that's not too bad and I'll just take the dual unit.

It drains easy! Each cylinder has a drain at the bottom. Turn by hand to open and close. You can get trick and slip a hose over the nipple that sticks out and put the bottom end in a cup or can.
No, you don't have to remove it to drain it. Are there OCC that have to be removed to drain? are ther OCCs that don't have drains?

Up to now, the place with the most available space for an object that size is on the firewall, behind the strut brace, next to the master cylinder.
There is a little aluminum Mitsubishi place riveted there.
Me and Slowcar had been trying to find the easiest mounting spot, and that seems to be it for now. A 2 can system is a little harder for the PCV side.
