Problem with HKS GD Pro clutch

Hello,

is there anyone else using this clutch ?

I have some problems when downshifting in lower gears... from 3rd to 2nd and from 2nd to 1st gear...

and it's not a gearbox issue...

The problem I have is that after downshifting, even if I release the clutch pedal very very slooooowly, i get instant and brutal clutch engagement.... no way to modulate the engagement...

I already changed engine bushings but that didn't made a real difference.... only a bit better.

TIA.

Bye...

uuhhh, i think thats normal. thats what all 6 puck style ceramic discs exhibit. i installed this hks clutch for a friend, and its more like an on or off engagment, no inbetween.

Mine is fine, but i do have it for almost a year. You just need to be more precise on your rev match to the lower gear.

Yes sgevotx...

I perfectly understand what you mean.... it seems to be the only solution !!!

But I still don't understand why it has this problem sometimes, and not always, and especially with hot engine !!!

Bah....

in my case I have zero problem starting or upshifting and engage... it's even quite soft and with a good modulation !

Problem is only when downshifting and engage in lower gears...
