You know I was reading this thread and wondering, I have never had a problem and I am running the AMS lower and stock clamps with 20 psi of boost. I did however do the samco hoses. I remember poping a stock hose off once under full throttle.

lol no prob...

a 1 piece unit means the whole licp is 1 piece, and connect from the turbo outlet to the intercooler as 1 piece. the stock evo licp is 1 piece

The AMS piece is 2 pieces. There is a pipe that comes from the turbo outlet, then into a coupler, then another pipe runs from that coupler to the intercooler.

If you have beer that's cool. Depending on what you are doing I can help you. The nose if the car is really easy to take off. I have never installed an aftermarket FMIC, but I did my AMS LICP, it would be a bit harder without a lift (did mine afer hours at Nissan dealer), but it can be done. Let me know and I'm pretty sure we can hook up. I ripped out my intercooler when I mounted my Nitrous Sprayer and it was relativly simple.

I think I might have a leak, although I'm not sure. I have a fighters garage licp on my IX and I boost 21psi and tapers down to like 16psi by redline (and yes, I do have an MBC).
