Clutch failure or something else?
My clutch has been slipping now for like a little while, I ordered a new clutch and it should be here tomorrow. But on my way to work this morning I was stoped, went to 1st gear and tried to go, It felt really weird and I tried to go back to neutral but nothing. Now its like in the middle of the "cage" and it will not go back and forth like in neutral. It does move like its in neutral up and down, but its like locked from side to side. So its in gear, but I can push the clutch in and it will roll.
Does that sound like clutch failure, or something else?

No, and I haven't checked the shifter or under the hood. I had it towed to a friends(thats where I am doing the clutch install) and had to get to work. I was already 2 and a half hours late.
