New Tomei Exhaust Manifold

Finally:

http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-ca...-manifold.html

A rather interesting conept with a number of cast pieces, welded together. I have placed an order for one (incl. heatsheild). Have not got a confirmed delivery date yet, but will keep you guys informed.

Well, is it eases your concerns, I think they sell it welded up and stuff

I run their O2 housig and dp and their workmanship is fantastic. Had their cams in civics in the past and they're very good. Exhausts is a new thing for them - used to be engine only. They don't seem to do much advertising and 'marketing' like HK$ and their stuff IMO is reasonably priced. This should be good, IMO.

it doesn't look any different from their current manifold other than the pic showing it in pieces PRIOR to welding. currently their exh mani is only available with their DP & turbo outlet pipe so they haven't been selling well. if they sell the manifold separate, they will b hard 2 keep on shelf. their current manifold makes 20PS more power than stock...

Very strange this. I've been getting my parts from Japan and the dp and O2 have been out for ages but the manifold has only been released very recently. Never heard of the manifold being avaialble anywhere, let alone with the dp and all that. Are you sure you haven't got them mixed up with another make?

The purpose of showing the pieces is that in stead of making them form bent tubing or segments, some of the pieces are actually cast with only two (as far as I can tell) are bent tubing. This should help with strenght and make possible quite complex shapes if they need them.
