Ported and polished head or stroker??

Yes i searched.

I understand how both work, and how both differ from one another. I just ordered my 35r kit from AMS, and i already have all the supporting mods to go along with it. (1k injectors, cams, FMIC, pump, headstuds, meth, etc). What i'm wondering, is which way do i go after i get my 35r kit on? I am definately going to do one or the other, maybe both, but right now i need to know which would be my best bet. Switch out the rods, pistons, etc. and go with the stroker? Or get a ported and polished head from AMS? I know they are pretty much opposite from one another, i just need to know which way i should go? I will be driving the car every other day if not everyday. Anyone expierenced this before? Any advice would be nice. Thanks

ask urself this one thing. Which is more important to urself right now since u have the surporting mods. LOW-end power or top-end?
stroker kit will help u spool the turbo and have some bottom-end grunt, the head will flow high up top.

hmmm...do you have AEM EMS yet?

What are your goals for the car? If your goals are 500whp and under, you dont really need anything at this point. Just a EMS and some good tuning.

are you trying to make a street car or a drag car
drag car=port the heads stay with the 2.0 motor
street car= dont worry about porting the heads right now. get the 2.3
