Pulling ECU fuse - resets ECU?

Subject says it all - it's easier than disconnecting the battery, but does it reset the ECU (after enough time)?

Probably not... There are at least 2 12v sources to the ECU, 1 switched, 1 backup, and possibly one additional 12v source.. the switched source is probably under the dash, but the backup supply is probably using a fusable link, or a circuit breaker in a different location. In the end, it probably is wiser to disconnect the battery.

Guaranteed way is to pull the ECU out of the loom

S2000 ECU has a fuse and a backup fuse. You had to pull both to actually reset the ECU, or you could pull the battery for 30 minutes or more.
