HELP! Need brake pad info for Evo 8.
Okay gang..I am in a pinch...I am running One Lap of America next week and need to buy extra brake pads, but bobody seems to know what brake pads fit the Evo 8. Does anyone have a picture of the OEM pads, or know which Hawk pads will fit?? Please help, or I am in some trouble!

Need a co-driver? ![Big Grin](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
My team just had to pull out of One Lap for multiple reasons.

Dealer can't help with the pads? I'd get a couple of spare sets of pads from the dealer, just in case (even if you manage to find higher performance pads).
I assumed the major brands like Hawk etc probably don't have products to market yet. Do they?

Hawk HB 180 HPS $63/set
Hawk HB 193 HPS $98/set **
HPS pads = "excellent street pad featuring low dust, high friction, rotor friendly, and silent running. Stops 10% shorter than OE pads. Optimal operational temperature range is 100-800 degrees F."
HPSPlus pads = "For more aggressive drivers, this dual purpose pad is a compromise design suitable for street use and some open track use. This pad has a higher coefficient of friction than the HPS pad. The optimum operational temperature range is 100-800 degrees F and, for short periods of time, up to 900 degrees F. Expect more dust and some noise in exchange for better braking."
You can also get the Ferrodo DS2500 (street) and DS3000 (track) for the evo 8 as well. Stay away from the EBC stuff.
** : these prices are from www.raceshopper.com. I bought some pads from these guys.. prompt shipment (overnight available) and excellent customer service. Ask for Edwin Robinson.
