I have done some porting before and it is a pain to be honest. If it was winter and I was looking for a project I would probably do it myself. But it is very time consuming if you dont have the proper tools. With a dremel it will take forever. If you have air tools, use them and be very careful. I just figured the price of coating alone is over half the price of the whole mani or hotside service so for the money it was worth it to have experienced people do the porting and then I wont have to deal with the mess or the frustration and have a better product in a shorter time probably as well. I have heard nothing but good things about the BR ported/coated parts and I cant wait to get mine back.
