might as well just machine o2 flanges and then make the two sections out of pipe instead of modding like this. also look into putting a muffler on it.

Actually every place I asked to do a custom 02 like that wanted $275+. This is not costing me anything like that.

Haha muffler

Would this throw off knock sensors like a cutout would. Also would we have to cut the undertray for this?

No it will not. Ive never seen cutout's even affect them. People run open dumps (whether it be external or internal wastegates) with no ill-effects. Also, the dump pipe will be routed to face the ground where-as a cutout is just open under the car.

I dont run the undertray so that is not an issue for me. Of course if you do, yes you'd have to cut it. Im headed to JMF tomorrow so Ill give updates tomorrow.

If you didnt cut the undertray it would melt it's own hole sooner or later.

Would this in anyway work with a stock downpipe and exhaust system. IT would be nice to have a quiet exhaust for crusing and when you get on it this baby opens up and you get all the power.

Ok but thats not what this is doing. That is where a cutout at your DP is going to do the job. A cutout basically bypasses the rest of your exhaust from where the cutout is.

This is just an 02 dump which basically instead of having the WG exhaust rerouted back into the exhaust's path, it will just be vented to the atmosphere.
