No AEM for alky?

Do you have to have AEM or some other multiple map EM for alky? I was wondering if this would work. I have a reflash right now with a MBC but i plan on getting alky soon. What if i get a EBC and just have one reflash but 2 different boost settings. One for just pump gas and the other for when i run alky.

Just wondering if this would work thxs!

Why not just get tuned for alky and run that tune all the time?

No, it only sprays when you're boosting. The point of alky is so that you always have it on tap 24/7. If you don't want it available 24/7, then just use race gas whenever you want to go fast. You don't need an AEM EMS (why would you think that?) or an EBC to run alky, even if you want 2 maps.

You either run alky 24/7 where the alky only sprays under high boost, or you get 2 flashed maps using EcuFlash - one for pump gas and low boost, the other for pump+alky and high boost. Then, you just turn on the alky, turn up the boost, and flash in your alky map whenever you want to use it. I personally prefer to have a custom tune for alky and run it all the time...why not?

Exactly my point. If you have it hooked up to start spraying at like 15psi and ramp up from there then it'll only spray when you boost at 15psi and beyond. This way you can get it custom tuned for exactly that and achieve better performance.
