Beyond valve size there are the minimum and average cross sections as well as overall shape. The efficiencies are not derived from plain valve size/area.

With a good port that flows really well at .500 who gives a **** if it causes you lose 5 cfm at .200? I guess the guys who would care are the majority here because they are sticking these silly little shelf cams in their "race" ported heads
Don't mistake wanting entire curve for focus on lower lifts. Having the whole curve just allows better decisions made. Same reason why people cam doctor lobes. More information is always better since it allows tailoring to a very specific application. Flow testing and lifting beyond what the cam lifts to shows other things too, so it is still preferable to have the whole curve.

If I could get a Cosworth, AMS, BR, and anyone else that sells a lot of 4G heads I would have no problem flowing them all and putting the results up. I don't sell heads, I just happen to have a neat little toy for my own personal entertainment, and I'm only slightly interested because I have an EVO.

I would be interested in seeing the kind of radius plate or radius form you use on a port that has an injector spray path relief like on these heads.
