20g records, Stock Appearing Class etc.....

My VERY LIGHT car ran a best of 124 mph trap speeds on a normal 20g turbo. Trent's car has gone 122 mph countless times with that same turbo and stock head, shortblock, intake, throttle body and small cams. Others have run 122+ also.
I'd guess Trent will run 126+ with this turbo on his EVO.

David, do you think getting 550whp on your dyno from a 20G is really that feasible? I mean, that would be at least 600whp dynojet. Considering a 20G is smaller than a 50-trim and 50-trims max out around 500-530whp dynojet, how is this even remotely possible? I dont mean to sound like a jerk and im not doubting you but how is this gonna work??? Does the turbo employ something that im not considering? Thanks

RSGUY, no I do not think 550 whp on our dyno is feasible and have never said 550 whp. I did say that we are working on a turbo that will hopefully make 500 whp on our dyno. We have already hit 459 and 491 ft lbs of torque with one of these new turbos. At the shootout I hit 451/450 in front of a large crowd and the car ran 10.8 at 128 mph like that. I have not run the car with the 459/491 numbers yet.
Actually as of last week my car has been swapped over to our GT35R kit as both of the turbos I tested went back in for changes. BTW, for me, I do not like the GT35R on the car. Yes, the top end is nuts but driving it around, in my opinion, is just not fun anymore. As a matter of fact I have parked the car and have been driving my truck. Probably will run the car with the GT35R on it but I am looking forward to getting the other turbos back to change back to a "Stock Appearing" set up again.

Ok, cool. Sorry about misquoting, i meant 500whp. I was just confused whether you were talking about a 20G prototype. Thanks for clearing that up and I look forward to the next couple of months.

My car is only a BR stage 4 w/ 20-g-9-5 and alky....on 94 oct pump gas with a custom flash from Al.
My best was 11.28 @ 124mph w/ 1.62 60' last night at Dragway 42. The car went 11.3x's many times.
I am VERY happy now!

^Yeah Jarod, I saw Trent last night at 42. We bs'd a bit.
I'll bet if he drove my car he would have run a 7.99@250 I hear he can drive the wheels off of cars.
I told him that I was going to run an 11.3 or break my car trying. I guess the house doesn't always win huh?

High PSI- the car made 366awhp / 360tq on Buschurs MD this June when it was tuned by Al.
I am definitely happy. The less is more theory certainly applies in this case.

Are you running full alky or alky/water mix? What was your avg 1/8 trap/et? Not really related to this thread but I'm curious
All these low to mid 11's have me excited. I made right over 330whp on the BR dyno with around 26psi and a weaksauce tune. I'm probably pushing around 350whp now that the tune is better.
360whp and running low 11's. Gives you some perspective on how the BR dyno reads

Bobby, EXCELLENT!!!!! I forget screen names so I had to ask Jarrod who you were. Nice display of power and driving!
This puts you right at the top of the heep in ET and tied with me at 124 mph as being the fastest. It is unbelievable that you ran that fast with the limited mods you have and pump/alky!
