TC howling???? And Now A Check ENgine light WTF!
I just got mines last week thrusday. And been looking around forums about a howling I been hearing. At first I thought it was the tires but after reserch I found it could be coming from the TC. Is this normal or something that needs to be fixed right away. I just got my car and don't want to get stuck with a lemon. And and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I say just driving normaly through all gears and gets a higher pictch as you go faster. If you let off the gas it goes away till you step on it again and can also be heard while slowing down.

This morning I spoke to Jon Shepherd about my tcase. Mine was howling as well, it turned out to be the ring and pinion. He doesn't fix that, so I had to buy a new one with his stage 2 upgrade. Be prepared to pay at least $2000 for a built up tcase if Mitsu says your warranty is void.

well i Stopped payment on the check I gave them on as down payment of $1500 so if they say there not giving warrenty, I'm using that money on upgrading to a stage 2 Transfer case. If it cost me $500 more out of pocket for something that won't brake as easy I'm all for it. Also I ran the check engine light at autzone and it's comming back as P0300 Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected. That sucks are the coil packs bad now????
