No, - I said that in response to the ATP being garbage.
So, if the turbine housing is faulty - I'll switch it out. Come on, for $1500 how can this not be a good deal?

I did.. and I couldnt find anything. I searched for ATP housing, ATP turbine, ATP problems and ATP issues. Nothing substancial there.
Is there a post with some hard facts?

50 trim (many many many diff configs/housings) basic upgrade from the stock turbo. Moderate gains on pump gas. Nothing earth shattering. (NOMEX underwear on!) Little noticeable lag over stock turbo. Falls off up top.
3071 next step up over 50 trim. Pump gas monster. About as big as you want to go on the stock bottom end with pump gas. Rod bolts would be wise. Little noticeable lag over stock turbo. Falls off up top.
3076 not worth it on 91 questionable on 93. Definitely not an autocross pump gas turbo. It is like a 3071 with top end. Pump + meth or race gas will make this turbo come alive. For 100% pump only, get a 3071. 3076 has Noticeable lag over stock turbo, not like a GT35 lag, but more like 4K spool vs 3.5K. Does not fall off up top.
I run meth so I went Vishnu V500 stage 2 3076 (3037 - same turbo). Pump gas get a 3071. Plus their kit comes with all the needed bits.
No I didn't make all this up. No I don't have a shop where I tested all this out. I have talked to several people that have the different kits from AMS/Vishnu/others.. and I have read on here a LOT! I am not an expert or a retard, I am somewhere in the middle and I don't have money to waste. So, I am kind of a well informed consumer.
Good luck with you decision.

That's good information.
That Vishnu Kit looks real good.
Basically comes equipped with everything needed.
( more than shown in the picture ) also includes injectors and slimline fan.
Question about the 3037 turbo:
Is that more/less a rebadged HKS turbo ?

I've yet to locate a single graph that shows that. Lots of folks run the ATP kit with great numbers and zero issues during the install.
As they say, opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one.

I also searched extensively regarding the ATP turbine housing and only saw good things posted by those who owned the turbo. I see many people saying it is junk, but did not see anything to support such negative statements.
I think a simple adapter such as Vishnu has produced is an option, although I am not too keen on the design. Garrett has said they will soon be releasing an internally gated GT30R and GT35R turbine housing within the next month so that may solve the issue with having to plumb for an external gate.

Does support exist beside Shiv's word that the ATP housing had flow problems. WIth graphs, charts, etc. And was it on earlier turbine housings or more recent housings?
Not that I dont trust Shiv - I just need more info here. I have searched hard as well and come up blank on pure evidence, not hearsay.

I searched every post I could find and those who owned the ATP turbo had nothing but good things to say about its performance. If there is a thread that I missed I am sure that someone can easily post it and put this to rest.
