Your Dynoflash has nothing to do with it if it ran better after you got flashed. It doesnt go away. I would def. check the plugs, airfilter.

what is the last thing you have done to your car before it got slow? go back to that and put your old parts back on to test it, you know it was working with that set up. do that first before you go on to condem other parts.

Put her in 5th gear and punch it @ 2,000rpm's. If the speeddomitor needle fly's across the rpm's and your car is not going anywhere fast then your clutch is slipping. If it still moves @ a good rate along with your rpm's then it isn't the clutch. It's something with the motor then.

it may be the bov.. i have a similar story. i purchased an injen intake/uicp and a turbo smart bov AFTER i had a dynoflash (yes not too bright).. long story short, my car ran a lot slower, not as smooth w/the intake/bov.

i put everything back to stock and voila, ran perfect again..

just try going back to stock.. if that doesnt help then you know it wasnt the uicp/bov

Don't just look at your plugs - that doesn't tell you much. Get a new set for $8 and put them in. 6k is a long time on copper plugs. I don't ever go longer than 5k miles, just FYI.

Btw, what's up with running a Tial BOV? Did you convert to blowthrough?

I had a similar problem with my stock turbo at one time. Everything checked out a-ok but the car was a turd.

I put the forge actuator on the car and voila it was back to normal. You might try adjusting your stock actuator up some or possibly replace it with a stock or upgraded one.

^ No, he's running VTA on the stock MAS.

To tell you the truth, under WOT this setup (MBC, TIAL) could be a little faster than stock. You may be able to hold a little more boost. Where driveability is really going to suffer is part throttle and on/off throttle. Good luck. . .

EVOIX4Me - check my post in your other thread. You need to change the routing of your vacuum lines.

If your done doing a compression check, changed plugs and other mechanical possibilitys and ruled them out.

Then do what 4TUN8 suggested. Log it and post it here.

Also....IEXCELR8 you realize that an UICP requires like no tuning right? It doesnt change airflow enough to warrant changing any fuel or timing.

You don't want to do it. It's a lot of money just to allow you to run VTA. I assumed you were going that route with a big turbo planned (GT35+) since you were running a Tial...
