Motec differential controller. RWD Evos?

Just looked over this months Modified and stumbled upon this little device. I remember reading a little bit about ACD Tuning and i think its very interesting. Will this unit be capable of sending more than 50% to the rear wheels? The ad is not all that specific.

MoTeC is proud to announce the release of the MoTeC MDC - Mitsubishi Diff Controller.

MoTeC's Mitsubishi Diff Controller (MDC) replaces the factory fitted Active Centre Diff (ACD) controller. It is a bolt in replacement making use of the factory mounting points.

The MoTeC MDC is suitable for EVO 7, 8 and 9s fitted with the ACD system from the factory. The MDC can be used in cars fitted with the ACD/AYC (Active Yaw Control) but the AYC will be disabled.

There are six selectable control modes, 0%, 100% and four user configurable modes. The control modes can be cycled through using the factory dash mounted ACD button. To prevent unauthorised copying of configuration data, configurations cannot be read out of the MDC.

Just gave Motec Australia a call. Pricing is around $3700 USD and they aren't sure if it is compatible with USA Evo's.

They said it should work with the US Evo although they need a wiring diagram to be sure. I called another distributor down there and they quoted me around $1200 USD. So if anyone can supply me with the wiring diagram I can go ahead and forward that to MOTEC Australia to double check if this will be compatible.

This is not a sort of "piggy-back" for the ACD, its a full replacement.

does that include replacing the center diff? that's the only i can see how it can alter the torque split between front and rear.

This unit DOES NOT change the torque split of the car, it only changes the locking characteristic based on throttle position vs speed. Once again if anyone has the USA pin-out for the ACD system it would be greatly appreciated.

It amazes me to this day that people still think the factory ACD hardware can change bias.

Alot of people think that all active diffs are Subaru DCCD type. There are also alot of people that because of said notion think they know how it works and therefore fail to rear aforementioned ACD thread. Its not all that unbelievable when you break it down.
