Quiet free flowing exhaust

Awesome.. you're just the guy I was looking for. I'm highly considering getting a Concept G blue, I've seen it on a dyno add over 15-20 hp to the wheels. My question is though, how loud is it silenced? I understand it will be load when in zero resist mode, but I'm wondering if I can still go through town with my cat and the silencer without unwanted five-O attention. I sent Tanabe's help mail a message asking them but I have yet to hear from them. If I do though, I'll put up any decibel readings they give me. I have a feeling that ultimately, this is one of the best exhausts for our cars.
But I drive it with a test pipe right infront, behind, beside po-pos all the time with now problem while I am just cruising.
Never had added attention while going wot either.

Welcome to the boards.
I would recommend our 3" turboback exhaust with the Magnaflow muffler and a highflow cat. It has a real mellow sound while still producing really good power. As was mentioned it has tame sound at just cruising speeds but still sounds agressive at WOT but its not overly loud. We have the lightest and highest horsepower making exhaust available for the Evolution.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

BTW, everyone should contribute with a sound file to help...
Maybe what is loud for me is not loud for you...

i was wondering the same also. i'm in the market for a new exhuast and the turboxs has been on my mind. they did a comparison test on a bunch of exhaust awhile back in an issue of Turbo Magazine. they rated the Turboxs as one of the quiestest. not sure how it would be when you add a downpipe and hi-flow cat or test pipe.

My greddy SP2 recently developed a wind noise whistling sound between 60-70 mph which is very annoying. I guess all the fiberglass insulation burned out in the resonators. Its still very quiet through when your not in the 60-70 mph range.
