I didnt know a stock evo ix would crush a pretty much race prepped evo 8, you learn something new everyday from evom.

I've seen a Miata whoop up on an EVO. It's all about the driver. If you cant master the tool, then what does it matter how sharp it is?
Ok - back on point. 18hrs and counting. This is what I am going to do - so speak up now if you have any objections. I am not going back a second time.
We are going to tune the turbo on 93oct, and at the same boost level as my baseline graph. This process could obviously take 5-10 dyno runs. The last setting we choose (which may not result in the highest peak numbers - but best overall curve) will be the end result @ 93oct. I will overlay this graph against my baseline.
Next we will retune the turbo for 100oct and 26psi. Using the same logic as the first test - and overlaying on my 382wtq curve.
In the end we'll be able to compare the ATP turbo to the stock IX turbo - at the same boost levels, in basically the same conditions - AND at two different stages, high and low boost.
Any objections?

^Sounds pretty good. Couldn't think of a more fair or controlled experiment in terms of outside variables(tuner, weather, fuel, boost) should tell us a lot about the kit. I think you must also be one of the first to bolt this up to a IX, best of luck!
Doogie- Seriously.......I actually just bought all of these shiny things so that I can put the stickers they come with on my car...... not because they help performance in any way shape or form. I PM'd Az3ar and asked him for his laptimes at Roebling Road as I will be going there this weekend his response- "Kiss My ***"

BTW - I thought I would share this. Do you know why ball bearing turbos are so bad ***?
B/c you can hear the turbo continuing to spin long after the car has been shut off.
Way cool!!!
