Just ran 9.97 at 142.3 mph in the RS with our GT35R turbo kit on it!! Full street trim BFG drag radial tires.

The car is amazing.

The kit IS on his website, this thread is about the GT35, not the 20G-9-LT.

Does that mean that the car's performance has been fuel limited up to this point? Everyone keeps saying that a 255 (or your upgraded 255) is sufficient for 500-600HP with the stock fuel system. Your comparison suggests that more fuel capability yields substantial HP gains in single change testing...is that what you concluded from your test?

How about running it with the tubular header now that you have more fuel available, and see if that gives you better numbers than the cast manifold?

The car's power with the GT35r was limited from the fuel system. The single pump we have made 542 whp on my car. After installing the twin pumps I was able to get to 590 whp.

I've done testing already with the headers. Not worth the change. The car has already gone 9.97 at 142 mph with a 1.60 sixty foot time on radials.

This turbo kit is available, it is $2995, complete.

What is the best way to control the new fuel system with a stock ECU? Also what about tuning since you'd be making a huge jump in fuel pressure when the second pump kicks in?

I'm nearly at a point now where I need to consider this upgrade.

Sorry for the off topic question.

Are you using the FP 3575 CHRA? Or are you just using the hotside housing?

Now I love my 3065 kit and would recommend it to everyone since the power keeps on coming but sooner or later it wont be enough for me.

I am using a GT35r cartridge with FP's turbine housing.

Malibu, best way to control it is going to be a pressure switch if you are using the stock ECU. Unless you can come up with a way to trigger a relay from MAF. I have not looked into pressure switches yet, I'd like to find a good 20 psi switch.

Creating a module to trigger off MAF frequency can be done.. Its just not a weekend do-it-yourself project..

Another possibility is to look closer at the 2003-2005 Intercooler sprayer maps, and utilizing the relay for that instead.. the 2005 obviously isn't wired for the sprayer, but the output from the ECU should still be there.. I haven't really looked closely at how those maps work, but its a possible solution.

BTW I can vouch for this kit.. its the one I'm running.. Every time I make a minor change to increase the efficiency somewhere, the turbo picks up even more power than I expect. Little changes have big improvements with this thing..

(Moved these questions to the specific thread Dave started on this fuel system so people can find it with a decent search... )
