I checked out that thread. The way it sounds is that AL used some other cheap exhaust system. Because the exhaust from XS power is very straight, no crazy bends, no bottle necks and the muffler is pretty much straight through also. I don't understand why we are trying to discredit this exhaust. I would understand if it didn't hold up or if there were a lot of restrictions in the system. But the TBE system is pretty free flowing. Don't get me wrong Dave produces a lot of fast EVO's and he is very reputable. I will buy other parts from just not the TBE system. If it fails then I will spend the money.

The weight I quoted is from the Fedex site. This is the weight (51.8lbs.) they weighed before they shipped it.

What was the weight after the test pipe, wondering if it was lighter than a Vishnu cat back that costs $800 and has all kind of bends?

33lbs...WOW that seems pretty darn light. My works DP and bolts/hardware was I believe 12lbs shipped weight.

That weight is including the DP, Straight pipe, test pipe, cat-back, box and shipping materials. That is what Fedex weighed; was the complete system in the box before they shipped it out. I'm going to try to weigh the whole system and I will report back to you guys. Also I will have pic's of the system being installed. I will also let you know if there any fitment issues. I'm installing it tomorrow morning. And for any of you that think it is a crappy system it is actually very nice.

I have had the XS TBE for over a year now and its held up wonderfully. I orginally bought it on ebay for 188 shipped. (a steal) and its gone through snow, salt, a 3000 mile trip across the country, and dozens of runs down the 1/4 mile. The car has run high 11's at 2200' elevation with mods listed below in my signature.

As for the quality and coke can test... When I originally bought the exhaust Al tuned my car a week or so later. He did the coke can test on it and passed. The same day there was a guy there with a HKS tbe (that failed).

No problem I already have taken pic's of the inside of the muffler and I will take some of the welds too. I will try to post them in the next couple of days.

Thats awesome 1slowevo. From what I've seen and heard so far it really is a nice exhaust. I will try to get the true weight of the tbe w/ test pipe tomorrow.

I have just a couple questions for anyone who wants to comment! What do you think of the Brian Crower Cams and do you think they are crap because they are very inexpensive for the pair compared to the Super name brands?
