You could use that $700 towards more parts. I have this same exhaust and it has been on my car for 11 months. I don't care what anyone says, this is a very good exhaust system.
It is the justification to this question that makes these Ebay threads great. I would buy my more expensive exhaust system because...I could go on and on.

In addition I don't care what anybody says, I don't feel bad spending almost $1000 on my exhaust system for the best you can buy.

WORKS 76mm DP, fits like stock even on 05/06...$270 shipped (lightly used)
JunB.L 3" Test-pipe back exhaust system new...$685 shipped

Not having any E-bay parts on my car...PRICELESS

OMG this is too silly, you have the Test Pipe on upside down backwards .

Step 1. Take the Test Pipe off.
Step 2. Rotate it 180 degrees so the back is no facing the front.
step 3. Rotate one again but this time roll it. It'll look like everyone elses.

I would use a true 3.0 gasket if it can be found.

I know your a Vendor joe but you gotta calm down . These exhaust work, they have been running great times. The only reason why theyt are cheap is because ..

1. Chinese Steel
2. Put together by a Chinese kindergarden class.

People have been runnign great times on all sorts of Chinese exhausts, 3.0 is 3.0.

Use 3.0 gaskets if possible.

HIGH PSI,
I am here because I am interested and I want to see some proof in the pudding. Even if a "10 year old sweat shop kid" welded it and the "chinese" stainless is not as good as say what is in my JunB.L system I am still interested in results. We all own EVO's here so we are on the same team!

AMS sells some really goos 3" gaskets which I have purchased many of. They have the steel ring in the center so they should almost last the life of the exhaust unless you have to remove it every weekend.

I dont feel bad either, thats the good part about "SMART buy", if the ebay exhaust wasnt available...I would have no problem putting a $1000+ exhaust on mine. also, who said this exhaust is the worst from the bunch?
No real test ..yet! remember?

Never said this was the worst exhaust you can buy. I would put it on my car over a Buschur system although I do not want to open up that can of worms. I have installed one of these and I have nothing really against it. I chose my current system because I wanted what I call the best. All of the exhausts I have installed for guys my combination is the best IMHO.

The testing is in the times/dynos. Do a stage 1 with flash and compare it to a stage 1 say of AMS/Buschur/TTP and see where it ends up with the against the more expensive parts with the same car/driver, etc. That is the proof.

And I take it back...I do have one Ebay part on my car. The Evo8 UK trunk badge!

even if your so called the best exhaust system put down 5whp more that is not worth $700 more. I am happy with my choice in exhaust and on the 17th of this month I am getting the rest of my parts installed and a dyno tune. I think that my car will mak really good power with the ebay exhaust. The ebay exhaust is really loud too, I can drive though a parking lot and set off car alarms

You also are interested in selling your JUN BL Exhausts . They look great but FWIW this exhaust works as well in terms of power. People are making big power and running big numbers.

3.0 Mandrel Bent, very hard to mess that up. Does the JUN BL fit better; of course. Does it look better; I think so. How much power does it make over the Jun BL, no proof there. The ebay has pruven with power, it's basically a Walmart exhaust, nothing special, but it works. Your Jun BL, what country it made in again? Not Japan, Not USA; where is it shipped from again?

That doesn't work....I started with it that way and ran into the same problem. Regardless of which way you turn it, the angle of the o2 bung is exactly the same.

As far as the Ebay Exhaust vs Other Exhaust argument...it's the same as Evo vs SRT4 or anything else. It's all about preferences. If everyone liked the same stuff and wanted to spend the same amount on things, there would only be a need to make one of everything. Variety is great and gives us all options on how we spend our money. For example, I have about a $20,000 wine collection. Most of you would think I'm crazy to have that much wine and spend $250 on an exhaust. Well, we all have to make decisions on what we find important to spend our hard earned money on. I could probably have a 700hp Evo, but I choose to purchase wine because that's another thing I'm passionate about. Some choose to only buy the best for their cars....well, that's how I am about wines. Don't get me wrong, you can get some great wines for a reasonable price, just like you can get a great exhaust at a reasonable price, just depends on what it means to you.

Anybody do dyno runs with this exhaust vs. stock or other aftermarket?

This is so cheap, it would be worth it even if you didn't use the downpipe, haha.
