i got this on my exhaust on my EVO 9 and it does touch the ACD a little bit. I am planning to get back under there to hammer out the downpipe. It does seem to hang a bit low but I haven't hit anything, i'm on stock suspension for now. what is the consequence if I don't fix the downpipe rubbing the ACD...just curious? Will it eventually rub a hole on my ACD? Overall its a great exhaust for the price!

No, it wont rub a hole in the diff case, it is just not good for that much extra heat to be adding to the diff. I have this exhaust on a IX and I use a bit of header heat wrap where it gets too close to the diff. It may also cause false knock by vibrating against the diff - so when your getting tuned as I think you should - the tuner dosent mistake your vibration for actual knock. (false knock). Dont bang on your nice 3" piping, just bend the exhaust hangers.

Just curious how much did you^ get your exhaust for recently?

If any of you guys aren't going to use your silencer I would like to get it from you. Mine was stolen and I could really use one when my Wife & Daughter is in the car. PLMK. Thanks!

So I thought I'd give you guys a little update on my exhaust. Ill let the pictures speak for themselves. I didn't hit anything to cause this either. I've had it on the car for little over a year.

I've been telling people that would happen for 3 years now and NOBODY has listened. I've seen that happen on 3 evos personally and at least half a dozen EVO's online.

Thanks for the pictures.

Its an easy fix.

Hangers snapping happen to all different brand-name exhausts.

^no, i have had this exhaust for about 1 year now with out any problems besides the downpipe touching the tcase and oil pan. I will post updated pics if people are doubting this exhaust and its "quality". Its been through many autox's and track days without any problems so far.

No issues for me either. 1.5 years.

That hanger is an easy fix / weld. That can happen to anyone.

This is a good exhaust but it will and i repeat will rub a hole in the t-case. I dont personally run the exhaust but it rubbed a hole in my friends 05 after i gave him warnings to get it away from the t-case. It rubbed a pin hole in it eventually which is now being fixed and re welded.... So dont believe it wont rub a hole
