transfer case oil

after changing my clutch in my 9 ,than adding a warrt stage 1 , witch by the way runs great i changed my trans and transfer case oil , with amsoil severe duty gear oil , trans shifts much better , than about 100 miles later i reliase the transfer case has clutches in it , so i drain the transfer case oil into a clean pan and inspect it and the mag drain plug , luckly for me very little clutch materal, so i go to the dealer and try to get the dia queen lsd oil , parts man says they are not sopused to sell this to custumers i finaly talk him into it , there about 1 litre of oil left in his 4 litre tin , he gives it to me, i bring it home and empty it into a smaller quart clean container , than look inside the 4 litre tin and there is a bunch of oil looking sludge on the bottom of the tin , red light, what is this s--t?? any one help ??.i am thinking its the lsd additave, ?? this dealer doesent sell a lot of evos so maybe this tin was sitting around for a while, so i went back to the severe duty amsoil but added there LSD fluid , should i just get some dia queen lsd oil from another vender or do yall thing i be alright?? thanks for any help

I may be wrong, probably, but I would double check, if I were you...I think the Motul 90 PA is a mineral based oil and not a synthetic. Having said that, the 90 PA was recomended to me for the rear diff of my Evo, by the Oil Guru on LancerRegister, eventhough I don´t use that particular Motul product in my diff.

I just said that the last 2 were LSD oil. I use the gear oil 300 in the tranny and the gear comp(formally FF) in the t case and rear diff. The gear comp is the the 5th one down and is 100% synthetic.

Dont put anything in your transfer case besides the regular Diaqueen LSD Gear Oil 90 weight. If you dont think you have the right stuff order it online from www.lancershop.com or something.
