I've never heard of anyone having an problems with Manley rods. They make great products. I also purchased Manley rods for my 2.3 stroker. I plan on running a FP 3065 or possibly a GT35R also.

If your looking for 1000hp or 10k rpm just go with the Carrillo H-beam, you'll never break it and they have the strongest robbolts in the market.

I saw a carillo rod push a wrist pin through a JE piston when the motor hydrolocked, nothing happened to the rod it was still within carillo's specs.

They will only be for a 2.3 running a gt35r so I wont be reving it over 7500rpm, so they should hold up fine.

carillo h-beams are compariable in weight, while the a-beams are some of the lightest out there.

if your looking to make a 1000 hp, dont skimp.

If you want to keep it in the 600whp range and under 7500 rpm you can use eagle rods without a problem.

Oliver makes a very good rod, but for the 4g series motor i would onLy use Carillo or Pauter

OT: My vote goes towards 35R....when we putting in the stroker?
