9.97 at 142.32 mph !!!!!!!!!!
Just a quick post for now. The RS ran 9.97 at 142.32, drove it to the track, drove it home. Watched the DVD player to and from the track. Ran the time in full street trim, BFG Drag Radials on the car. Full exhaust, full interior, air bags, door beams all the stuff intact.
Funny thing is the car has quite a bit more left in it. Just need more fuel. This was on 1200 cc injectors our single intank pump.
Heading out right now with Daniel's car to try and run even lower 9's in his.

Alright. The turbo kit is our cast manifold GT35R kit with the FP housing. Same kit we sell for $2995.
The 9.97 run looked like this:
60' time, 1.60
1/8th mile 6.521
1/8th mph 113.22
1/4 mile 9.978
1/4 mile mph 142.32.
The best 60' was a 1.591 and that run was a 10.02 at 141.64 mph.
Before I forget I have to say a huge THANK YOU TO TRENT STANLEY, OUR WELDER AND MY FRIEND, FOR DRIVING THE CAR!! Without him driving it wouldn't have happened.
He ran a 10.02, 10.12, 10.04, 10.14, 10.06 and the 9.97.
Best MPH was 142.32, worste MPH was 141.64.
The car is absoluletly awesome. Drives and runs perfectly on the street. Looks great and is comfortable.
I want to stress that this is NOT a gutted out car running on biased ply race tires or slicks that I am calling a street car. This is my actual daily driver. I'm not concerned at all with putting my wife and kids in the car and driving anywhere with it.
The reality of building a daily driven 9.50 car with A/C and such is very near. Trent's car is going to be built over the winter and make that a reality.
I am done now with the car. Not even sure what to do with it at this point. I wanted an EVO to run 10's and be driveable, now I have one that runs 9's. Putting the small turbo back on is what I need to do next but it is going to be hard to make myself take away that 9 second status the car has
