That's like saying that an AMS turbo kit isn't "there's" because they buy turbos from Garrett.
What Im tryin to say is that AMS and BR are not manufacturers(of internal engine parts). So they buy parts from other people they dont make a single part of there kit. If u get a turbo kit from one of them its alil different. They are making the manifold, oil return lines etc. and engineering fitment of IC pipes. Not just reselling parts. I bet BR uses either eagle or Crower rods and Wiseco or JE Rods. atleast with EVO 1-3 and DSM 4g63s they did. They built Sheps 7 sec motor so there is no doubt they are great and the best.

Another thing is a turbo kit to make is only $1300-2800 depending on turbo with the the biggest turbo being a 45R

Brian Crower is the Son of the original "Crower" he broke off to specialize in import parts, all his parts are built with the same QC that Crower has been using for years.

Hi Guys
I have been in Munich for the beer festival for the last few days so have missed the mails.
Thanks for all the replies.
So you guys are confident that both of these kits are of equal quality,I know that one uses CP pistons and the other uses JE.
If pushed to decide which would be your choice.

CP pistons was started by 2 former employees of JE thats why they have all the same technology and almost identical specs.

Both are very good pistons.

wth are you talking about... every other kit does not use a 102mm crank and saying its not a true kit because they do not make piston is absurd.

BTW both Crower companies are the same thing...

Brian Crower grew up at Crower Cams & Equipment Company, where he headed up the Crower Sport Compact division since its inception. With Crower Cams heavily focused on the V8 market, Brian saw an opportunity to truly support the needs of the Sport Compact community. With the support of his family, Brian Crower Inc. was formed to deliver the highest quality internal engine components for a variety of popular engine platforms.

Does anyone have a dyno chart on the BC stage 2 cams (272/272) after the install? It would be very helpful in comparing against other cams such as the HKS and GSC's.
