Bruce Crower or Brian Crower Stroker

Hi
I am interested in which of these two kits would be the strongest and most widely used.I know that Brian offers a pro version which is rated at 800bhp,how does that compare to the Crower kit.

Regards

Bruce Crower or Crower which is the right name for it doesnt make stroker kits for a evo 8 only for hondas. I would say use the Crower rods just becasue they have proven over and a over that there rods are one of the best out.

Actually both Crower and Brian Crower Both make strokers for the evo using a 102mm crank.

Crower has a true kit just JE makes there pistons for it. I have Crower cams springs, retainers, and rods in my DSM(Ross pistons). I love them. Best rod u can buy thats not aluminium.

Brian Crower works for Crower (as in Crower Cams). Who is Bruce Crower?

Neither AMS or Buschur make pistons. Do they not have stroker kits?

I can say that I never heard of Brian Crower products til the EVO came out. Even tho Crower Cams and Equip has been masking parts for 20 plus years. I trust Crower and love them especially there rods. I have no experience with BC and probably wont.

They dont make any part of there kits just peice them together. Crower actually makes the rods and cranks. Then buy the pistons from JE that are "built to there specs" Crower Eagle etc etc are manufacturing company not just Retailers.

Maybe I'm misinformed, I thought the whole Brian Crower group buy thing was just a group buy worked out with Brian for the standard Crower stroker kits not an new line of parts.

Does he have his own brand now?

I'm aware of that but, if they spec out the parts and the combination of parts how is the not "their" stroker kit?

That's like saying that an AMS turbo kit isn't "there's" because they buy turbos from Garrett.

Ill tell you this if you where to buy everything yourself its way cheaper the ams kit goes for $2100

Here is the real price brake down.

Crank reman. $350 with baerings
Rods (eagle) $310
Pistons (ross) $450-580 depending on what kind of piston you want from basic to all out.

So you do the math.
