Damn, I was waiting to see if someone would do something like this. I am very curious to see what happens with these as I was thinking of picking up a set.

 

If anyone is wondering why we have not been back to the track since our 10 second stock turbo passes, it is because we have been through about 6 ignition systems trying to locate a winner that will effectively ignite the fuels we are using without misfire.

We have an 1100hp coil on plug system here on the shelf that cannot be used with the stock ECU.

Could we easily make it work on AEM? Sure.

Would we rather move forward with the stock ECU? Yes.

Please note, we are a OKADA DIRECT master distributor now if anyone is interested in their products, not limited to their PLASMA DIRECT COILS.

 

looking forward for the result of the OKADA PROJECTS Plasma Coils as I want to run surely high boost without misfire or spark blow. thanks.

 

sometimes it caused by too high timing around the idle rpms vs. load area.

I wouldn't mind trying a set if they didn't use the same product code for an 05 and an 06. IX's use different plugs so how can you have the same product for both?

 

Is the Sun Auto the type of product not really necessary for a stock turbo'd car? I dont have misfiring issues, but thought other benefits may be nice.
