clutch clunk noise, HELP!

I have this strange clunking noise, when the clutch is depressed most of the time, but not always, usually in 1st and sometime in 2nd and 3rd, there is this clucnking noise, seesm like something is loose knocking around, I can hear 2-3 knocking noises, check almost every nuits and bolts possibly, engine and tranny mounts are in good shape and tight, everything is tight, it 's better if AC is off, it happens more often when AC is on? anyone experiences anything like that?

when does it happen? going in a straight line? making a turn? at high speed? at low speed? etc...

i have a little clunking demon in the front passenger side suspension of my car that i have been chasing around for a couple months now. i have had the front sway bar end link, and strut mount bearing changed on that side, and it seemed to help a little.

my noise happens mostly when turning sharply at slow speeds, ie pulling out of a parking space. any of that sound familiar?

Mine clunk (more like a marble in a trash can) only when I pressed the clutch, going level, downhill, but not uphill, uphill is quiet, no noise, turn or straight makes no different. I am thinking release fork, may be, but not sure how to tell, dealer is no help either. they told me they'll have to take the tranny out and still no guarantee that is where the noise came from, not sure I want to pay a couple of hundreds of dollars to them just ot try.
