How can parts be discontinued if the car was produced up until a few months ago? Are you sure the pump assembly has been discontinued? Anyone else shed any light or official confirmation of this because if thats the case I may not want to hack up my pump assembly just yet....

Yes, I believe that their computer system is #ucked as I just tried an oil filter # and brake pads and both yeilded same results,"may be discontinued".Disreguard previous "discontinued" status til monday when it can be confirmed or not.
Don't we have any other mitsu dealers/parts dept's that support this site that we can check this part # with?
