for those of you wondering what the input shaft looks like......



note the groove on either end that holds the clip smoked is talking about. (My car is in peices....thats why its so easy for me to take pics so fast....)

JUN 264's. I am building the much debated-hated 2.1L I think I know what caused most of the problems in the build ups of other 2.1's and I feel I can improvise, adapt and overcome. You should see the rest of the pile of parts sitting behind the cams.....

Looks like I better get my boys at Team Rip (TRE) to look at my pumpkin, and tell me HOW BAD it is!! Will post photos soon, and the video when it let go!! More to follow. I will post the photos on the weekend, and you can give me your opinions to "how bad it is"

althemean, did this shaft go out following a clutch install (or any other task requiring shaft removal)? Just wondering because it was a major job trying to get that thing back in on mine.
