will the 2005 transfer case fit onto a 2003? I don't know if the ACD would cause any problems? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I was told I have an 05 TC in my 03 evo.....actually ISP Racing did my clutch and told me I have an 05 TC in my car. I bought my car used but know the previous owner. He told me he paid 3k for an 05 TC in 2004. I have links from DC evo when I first found out about this too.....

When you read the thread CAYMANDIVER75 is the original owner of my evo who told me he bought the 05 TC with LSD new for 3k.......but I am wondering if in fact it's really an 04 RS TC with upgraded LSD as Dan from Mach 5 commented about in the thread.....all I know is my tranny shifts like butter and my TC is working great!

I have a shepracing stage2 TC with forged spider gears and a mitsu factory LSD.

wether it was originally a 04 RS case or an 05, I'm not sure?

 

The 05s are all ACD. The 05 TC and Tranny share oil passages, so they have to be used as a pair.
