Apexi intake

So i installed my apexi intake tonight, the brackets were a real pain in the butt. is it easier to put the bottom bolts on first, or the ones on the filter bracket?

what is this little bracket for? the instructions made it look like it bolts up to that little vacume sensor thing, but it would not fit.

I ended up just putting one support bracket, because the other one was so hard to get to

It still upsets the MAF...there's no avoiding it with a cone filter. It requires a tune like any cone filter.

Adding a cone filter doesnt really change anything, Like I've said before its the MAF pipe that really changes the way it runs.

what do you mean by it upsets the MAF? I put in a cone filter on my evo with out a tune and it runs the same as it did stock.

Some say because of the new MAF location, that the sensor actually reads the incorrect amount of air causing the car to run leaner. I have no idea what Im talking about.

Buschur added an intake filter and it added power without a tune.
