I'm guessing at max boost....like 29-30 is where the turbo would run out of steam

This is not correct. The turbo is rated at 47lb/min.

To get anywhere close to this, you'll need to run 30+psi of boost along with race gas/alky.

Id say max boost is 30psi. It FP says its 47lb/min, thats what it is. Im actually curious to know what my car can do with this turbo on some 112 leaded and 30psi.

All pissing and moaning a side, this thread is about possibly one of the most important recent developments of USDM Evo parts. The thread is being cleaned up in order to make it easier for new people to the thread to actually get some useful information about this development. Although some of the side bar commentary was humorous, and the subscribing information a great idea (and one of my personal pet peeves), it is not to the topic at hand and was removed. I implore anyone wanting to further those subjects to do so where appropriate, Off Topic, etc.

A 2 liter motor with cams and a stock intake manifold will move 49 lbs/min at around 26 psi. This is based on personal experience with several different combinations of parts. In the case of maxing out the turbo, you can build more boost in the beginning of each gear, but this is where it will fall to.

i currently have a 20g-9-6 with an upgraded actuator and what i'm ASSUMING is that i will need to bend my coolant/oil lines or get evo IX lines, however can i retain my upgraded actuator? Is there going to be an install kit available like for the past 20g's that will include a LICP?

They all (9-6 9-5 and LT) should use the same lines. The LT uses the same compressor housing so everything including the LICP & actuator will bolt right up. In fact I believe everything is identical to the 9-5 and 9-6 turbos

Thanks man.. first vid I ever made and now the season is over. I'm hoping to strap one of these LT's in place of my 9-5 before spring to hold me over this next racing season.. then I'm going built and big... Buschur Style

I think this turbo will be perfect for guys who daily drive their evos with full boltons and who run meth.

Flowing 47Ib/min means that it'll get close to around 450-475whp on a dynojet (assuming evo has full boltons and meth @ 29-30 psi)?

While on the topic, is there going to be a solution for the LICP for current Deluxe FMIC owners?
