Buschur Racing's new 20gLT, EVO Green turbos ready to be ordered.....

I received mine yesterday, and installed it last night. However, Buschur won't let me talk about it in this thread .
I'll do some data logging and create a new thread with my impressions soon.

I think someone has asked for a compressor map in this thread. I assume one exists??
What's the big secret? That will give us a good idea of what the turbo is really capable of for our own setups. Nothing like good old hard data, without the BS.

" Nothing like good old hard data, without the BS."
I couldn't agree more with that statement!!!
So, my RS ran 10.88 at 128 mph and Curt's car ran 10.5 at 129 mph.
There's your hard data. You are welcome!!

Duly appreciated dave, reason i originally asked for the map was to get a feel for how the turbo would do on pump gas. Not really interested in a turbo for race gas applications and fully built motors.
I know you weren't willing to do that with your car and i respect that. The map would get me an idea where the surge line is and the efficiency of the the compressor. It should get me a very rough idea where the turbo will stand on a regular pump gas setup

Do you always have to answer posts like this???
Couldn't you just say, "No, we don't have the map, or No, we don't want to share the map."
Telling me that you or Curt ran in the 10's does nothing for me and most people on here. We don't have your cars, your setups, your engine management, your tuning, etc. Didn't Curt run 10's on the stock turbo, too? So, I guess you're saying that this new turbo is just a waste of money. OK, thanks. (I know you're not saying this...I am being sarcastic to your reply.)
I could hope you would be one to appreciate why I am asking for a compressor map. That is the hard data that can be applied to any car and any setup. We can run our own numbers, rather than using yours.
Thanks,
Eric

Actually, I can't appreciate wanting to see the compressor map. In 18 years of building 4g63 engines I have honestly looked at maybe 6 compressor maps. Once I actually chose a turbo for one of my applications based on that compressor map and guess what happened? The car didn't work.
I guess what is on paper, because I am an ignorant hillbilly, doesn't matter. What matters is what happens on the track and at the track you will generally find us at the front
I asked Robert about a compressor map to post. He said he had data but not in a graph form as you generally see compressor maps in, so it was not what you guys were asking for. Robert said he was intending on building it into a graph form and was going to work on it.
So the actual answer to the question is, there is no compressor map like you guys want to see as of yet. Robert is working on one.
Sorry for my sarcasm but to be honest after the compressor map is supplied it will just be followed by something else being wanted and then at the end of the day all that is going to really matter is how fast an EVO can be made with this turbo on it.
