Stock IX Dumpvalve sound

Hi there,

Does anyone has a movieclip of an Evo IX with open intake where you can hear the stock DV?

I want to know how the stock DV sounds.

Thanks

Ill post these links up on one condition -- for the love of puppies do not us a VTA BOV! Search VTA - will cause problems (stalling, not run 100%...)

((And you know you'll need a base flash for the open element filter - right?))

Ya, I thought it was more of a phoof than whoosh also.

Jst wanted to install another filter without anything else.

The car will be modded, but after a few months though.

Can i try it once just to hear the sound?

Just open the airbox and drive a few miles to hear the sound? Or is that not recommended?

Is this the sound i will get?

I wouldnt start removing parts just to hear the dv puhooing, whooshing, phissing or what ever. Its not that bad *** anyways, just drive by your local srt-4 owner and i assure you they will entertain you with there obnoxious bov's.

I know, but i was curious how the stock one sounded.

To be honest, i love the sound that you hear in the movieclip a few replies above and also want to have a similar sound.

But people told me that the stock BOV would do just great so i don't have to buy another BOV.

The only part that i want te remove to hear the sound if the airbox-cover.I will put it back on once i know how it sounds.

And after a few months the engine gets modded by some expierenced people, and then i can tell them if they need to install another BOV or only an open airfilter to hear the stock BOV

I really appreciate your attempts to "say" the sound, but i think a soundclip or movieclip will be allot easier to explain to me how it sounds
