Got my new Buschur COP setup!

Previously I was using a AEM CDI until it fried on me after 1500 miles, they then sent me a new Twin Fire which fried on me after about 30min of driving on my way to get retuned at Buschur. After my 2nd aem box fried on me I scrapped the old setup and decided to go with the tried and true Buschur ignition setup. Now I should be able to make it all the way there.

how much is that unit going for? and at what point are you guys seeing gains from switching to cop. i'm sure it's different with every car but i've seen evos go well in to the 10.xx's on the stock coil.

Chris I think you are refering to the connector on the top right by the coil, if so this is a plug and play system. Each connector just plugs right into the factory connections that go to the factory plugs very nice if I may say so.

The setup is $1100 on their site.

DWAIST, I switched to this because my car just doesn't play nice with the AEM ignition boxes. But with the aem c2di and 4 msd coils I put 579 down on Buschurs dyno with no misfire problems.

No, I think he was referring to what looks like half-eaten donut. What type was it and what did it cost?

The COP setup doesn't really net any gains in power. Its a mod that you do for better ignition reliability at high horse power levels (less misfire, etc.). It is strange that you have had so many different units fry on you!

Got BR COP setup installed. Had a buddy from work weld a sheet of aluminum to the original BR battery tray so I could mount up the amplifier sleek like the new trays.
