Help!!! Car bucks forward only loud popping noise when rolling forward!!!
Well heres the story I went to the local drag strip here in El Paso. I was revving my engine at 6,000 Rpm and the light turn green and I slipped the clutch as I pressed on the gas all the way down and my car just went like 2 feet forward and it made a loud popping noise! so then I try to go forward again and my car makes a loud popping noise as it goes forward seeing this I push the car off the track I look under and theres no oil or anything that I could see that might have made the popping noise. The car also does go into gear and If I press on the pedal the clutch grabs except it bucks forward with the popping noise. So I tow it to my friends house and he takes a look at it the day after he says theres big metal shavings in the tranny oil and I think he said drivers side shaft??? but he says its the tranny. I would like another opinion before I go rebuild the tranny... Thanks in advance

Check the connector in the MAF if it's still connected.

does the car run and rev fine? if not, see above.
if car runs fine but wont move well, it is either the transmission or transfer case. tough to say without being there.
