Oil drain plug crush washer.
#32
old thread bump........ didnt feel like driving a half hour to the mitsubishi dealership so i picked up some m14 crush washers (3 for $1.98) from advance auto. i compared them to oem and they are exactly the same. just wanted to let you guys know.

I had my first oil change at the dealership, they didnt even use a crush washer, beause on the next oil change I did it myself and nothing was there. So I didn't use one. NO leaks, nor problems. I wouldn't pay more than $0.25 for a stupid washer, NAPA or my local autozone sells them, I might just use them next time but im not worried about it.

Not to smart... #1 oem filters are ALWAYS BEST. Theres no reason why you need an autozone one they just elevate the amount of oil flow and I dont know about you but a mixture of grinding and oil should be well filtered not free flow.. #2 Just ask for a crush washer at any dealership most of the time its free but some guys will charge like 2 bucks (I know for fact my father owns a mitsu. dealership) better to be safe then sorry..
