to be honest, I am not sure... it will definitely help above 5krpm. I see that you have more TQ than HP, so it might help even it out some. you really do not have many choices left on the stock turbo. I would definitely do cams before fmic.
I picked up lots of power with the cams + retune, but I also upped the boost 1.5psi and the tune might have been better. my gains were over 30whp, but you might see less as you have more mods and the stock turbo might run out of steam at some point... I am happy with the car as is (its pretty fast and quiet enough not to bpther an old fart like me) and you can never have enough power with an awd vehicle, so you gotta say enough at some point, spent the cash (and the time) on other fun stuff.
If I ever touch the car to make more power again (not likely), I will install APS or AMS FMIC, FR or JIC or Ported Manifold + 20GLT Turbo (if it proves to make power) + 680 or 720 injectors.

you speaking from experience? I have made substantial gains with cosworth cams from 4k onwards (this is where we started measuring on the dyno).
you recommend he does a big turbo without cams? if I remember correctly, cosworth cams gained 50whp on a 50 trim. If anything, I would say big turbo is much more of a tradeoff when it comes to loosing HP at lower revs on a 2.0...
I still stand by my original suggestion: for the best HP/$ without loosing daily drivability, his next best bet is cams. next (or at the same time), I would trow on a 20LT if it proves to make 25+HP over stock turbo (on meth for your application)
take a look at this: IX 20G vs GT35
