Is the 280/280 too much cam for the stock turbo...I do intend to upgrade to a 35r someday but for now are the cams too much??? Its on a IX if that makes a difference!

There are plenty of guys on VIII's that run them with no problems. I would definatly do it personally.

Ive just heard that sometime too big of a cam can hurt you more then help you...I saw this over at Supraforums when they compared HKS 264s vs 272s...low boost the 264s kick the 272s *** but when they cranked the boost that is when the 272s shined!!

I have the HKS 280's now, but if I had to do it over I'd get the GSC 280's

If I wanted to upgrade my valvetrain as well.... I'd probably do revolver or JUn 272 cams

No, he was talking about the GSC 280/280 cams for evo 9. The exhaust cams are the same for both 8 and 9 but the intake cam is different.
