idle problem when car is cold

hey guys i have a problem that started about a weekago. my car dies at idle when i first start it when the engine is cold. at first i thought it was the plugs but then i changed them and its still doing it. there isnt any vac. leaks and after the car warms up it idles just fine. i did adjust the throttle cable so it wouldnt die as much but it seems to like overcome that fact that the cable was adjusted and still goes below the 1000mark. anyone have this problem before? or know why its doing it?. and does anyone else have this problem?

mods:
turbo back 3"
flash
MBC

and is it MAYBE possible that i could have cams in it? (i got it back in july and im the 3rd owner. my vac isnt at 20 like i think its suppose to be its always at 10-15 and my friend said somethin like if you have cams that it'll affect the vac... j/w).

have you try reading the obd codes? sometime you may have a code but the light doesn't necessary come on. it may give you a clue? if it dies only when cold, it could be bad coolant temp sensor?

nope no codes and the car did over heat so im thiking maybe there is an air pocket in there?.. maybe coolant temp sensor but why would it be fine after it warms up?

when your idle control goes bad it wont idle when it's cold but once it warms up it's o.k.

+ 2 on the icv. but first make sure all of the vaccum lines are fully connected to it. try searching icv, some have taken it off and cleaned it with carb cleaner

Sounds just like what I went through last winter when my iac said bye bye. Call up your local junk yards and look for an iac out of an '02 galant. Mention nothing about even owning an evolution unless you want to be overcharged.

Yeah, I know but it's the same part. When you hold them up side by side it will be clear.
