I thought you said you were tuned for pump, and he was tuned for pump+meth...
Seems to me that would account for the 20hp difference.
What did I miss?

Pump for pump he got 20 more hp than me. That was before he started spraying the meth.

354whp on their dyno is really strong for running 93 oct. only, thats about 400whp on a dynojet. Nice numbers!

Just so everyone knows this is misinformation.

DynoDynamics at 1.00 Correction is the lowest reading dyno of the 3.

However with a dynodynamics you can run any correction you want so you can make the dyno read what you want.

who cares which dyno you put it on it still made power. nice power curve. comes on real fast. doing what they did to the car I think that did it the way you should and tune it on a DD dyno, which I think is the best fo tuning. either way I can say I think they are happy with their cars.

good number though...
so does the satisfaction and gain you got from the LT justify its price?
No. But the VE of the second car was much better....Load was lower and sooner suggesting the combination of the different intake, different cams, ported hotside and uprated wastegate was able to flow more air through the engine..

FWIW this was the best turbo we have seen to date in this configuration, I for one am very impressed..It easily yields the same results up top on pump as a GT3076 but has the added benefit of stock like spool... and for the price over a $4000.00 + turbo kit it seems to be a no brainer

FYI Dyno4mance has never and will never correct the dyno in the software to mimic other dynos higher numbers....although I am sure this is being done around the country by a few other owners of Dyno Dynamics dynos

Andrew,

How would you compare this turbo to the stock Evo IX turbo? Would it be a noticeable upgrade or is it more applicable as an Evo VIII upgrade?

Curious...

If his buddy had a previous baseline run on that particular dyno I would guess yes but its still a legit question.

If I already had injectors, a strong clutch, and a FMIC I would be placing an order.
