Mine and a buds FP20gLT dyno results.

Well a friend and I took the cars too Dyno4mance today to get tuned and dynoed. We both just installed the Forced Performance 20gLT. He got tuned with on pump and meth and i got tuned just on pump gas 93octane. We are both are on stock ECU and just were getting flashed. He has the same mods as me that are listed in my sig except he has different cams and intake with a Perrin UIP and SMC Alky kit. He also got the high pressure wastegate and port matched hotside. The dyno at Dyno4mance is a Dyno Dynamics and both cars were tuned safe with very little to no knock count at all. Here is my graph, I was running 23pounds of boost and put down 327AWHP. I was not able to get a base line on this dyno before the turbo install, but about 1 month ago i dynoed at Topspeed which has a DynoJet and I put down 317AWP. Andrew at Dyno4mance told me that his dyno reads 12% lower than the dyno at Topspeed. So that means i made a addition 49.24 AWHP with the install of this turbo and a tune on stock ECU. I was very happy and the car feels great. It pulls so much harder up top now and the power is very smooth. Also Andrew and Bruce could not stop raving about how much they liked this turbo and how fast the power came on, how smooth it was and gave little to no knock to the sensor when spooling.
Now as for my buddy on his 03 EVO he did get to do a baseline on this dyno before the turbo install and alky, he put down a killer 315AWHP on the DD. Which is very strong. This time with the addition of the turbo and ported exhaust manifold and tune, still pump gas, not spraying the meth yet he put down 354AWHP at i think 24psi. (Dont have is graph with me) His EVO is stronger than mine. Now for the meth 100% and 26psi he put down 371AWHP. He is still wanting to go higher on the boost. So he also increased 39AWHP with the install of this turbo on pump gas and 56AWHP on meth with only 26psi of boost. His tune was also very safe with little to no knock.
I am not a expert so if any of the information i gave up there is incorrect please feel free to correct me. Also if you have any pointers for me after looking at my dyno sheet, please let me know. Sorry i do not have my buddys sheet. Also i do plan to go back to Topspeed to get another dyno run on there DynoJet to get my true HP increase.

MrBirdie - the DD dyno reads lower than a mustang dyno.

Jeff Jeske - I would also like to know why he got 20 more hp than me...lol Hi car is strong. I think mine still needs some work though. Also how the hell can i get the graphs bigger? I scanned them and everytime i try to load them on here it says they were too big so i had to make then small as hell.

Its strange how some cars are stronger than others. I guess it could be any number of things though..... boost leaks, timing advance, different gas, spark plugs, differences in FMIC and exhaust..... I guess thats why the BR team keeps talking about the blend of parts that work the best together.
You still saw nice gains and have a nice fat powerband. I would like to see your 1/4 trap speed.

ok, so the major difference is you are running GSC 272's, he's running HKS 272's, and he put down about 20 whp more with other similar mods and boost????? This could get interesting.
